How it works
Light it. Wait a minute. Watch.
STEP 01
Place a backflow cone on top
Backflow cones have a hollow channel in the base. Set one over the opening at the top of the burner.
STEP 02
Light the tip, then blow it out
Let the tip catch, blow out the flame, and leave it glowing. That's what makes the smoke.
STEP 03
After about a minute, it flows
The smoke drops through the burner and slides down the leaves like a little waterfall. Keep it out of drafts for the best flow.

Good to know.
Why isn't my smoke flowing down?
Three usual causes: a regular cone or stick was used (only backflow cones have the hollow channel), there's a draft from a fan, vent or open window, or it just needs more time. Give it about a minute after lighting for the cone to heat through.
Can I pick it up in store?
Yes. Visit Beaver Bark Gift & Garden Center at 607 Aaron Drive in Richland, or call (509) 946-1000.
Does it come with cones?
Cones are sold separately so you can pick your scent: Lavender (#134283) or Jasmine (#134284), $6.99 for a tin of 20.
Can I use regular incense?
No. You need backflow cones, which have a hollow channel that sends the smoke downward. Regular cones and sticks send smoke up.
How do I clean it?
Let it cool fully, then wipe it with a damp cloth. A little residue from the incense oils is normal.
